Iluq is a personal project I've been working on since 2011. It's a story based on the Inuit cultures of Northern Canada. Iluq is a young girl who has to set out to hunt for seal in order to sustain her family. On the hunt she encounters various animal spirits who try to assist her. The following is some of the visual development work I've done so far on this project including mood paintings, character designs, background sketches, research and other process work.
